The unfortunate event of Bob's death has come as a highly shocking news! Though the cause for the death has not been fixed yet, it appears to be a case of depression and stress. And the main reason behind this is that the status given to cricket in countries like India and Pakistan. Myself being a great lover of the sport i can understand the passion in the countries for the game. But what really hurts is that, there are millions of people who think that losing a game is the end of world. They fail to realise the pressure they cause on these players. Every time when we win a match, the players are treated as gods.And the moment we lose a match, they lose their cool and say all possible things to hurt the players. And for a guy like Bob who comes from England, though he is very much aware of the religious status given to the sport in the country, that itself has become an added pressure. If such expectations from people continue, soon we might even start losing players. Come On guys!! for all those who fall in the above category,knock some sense into your heads.For u it may be a game,for them its their Profession. Let them work in peace.
