Tragic Death - I mourn it
by arbind on Mar 19, 2007 02:25 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I was working on my laptop when I saw this news on the rediff msg board, I thought it was a joke by some fool on rediff. I switched on the TV and was shocked, it was disbelief and horror. I prayed that may be there is some misinformation, may be Bob is just unconscious and is in hospital... but is still alive.... I hoped and prayed that let this news be wrong... Bob was no one to me ... I never knew him.... but something within my heart made me feel sick because of the tragic circumstances under which he died... I hoped that I am having a bad dream... that it is not a reality... but alas when all the TV channels confirmed it there was no room for disbelief... I felt as if some one close to my heart has passed away... My heart goes out to his family... I can't even imagine what they are feeling specially about the terrible circumstances of his death.

The timing of his death clearly pints the pressure that man was under. Clearly, a huge huge loss to cricket world but it goes on to show the thin line between passion and obsession.
