Cricket is God and everything in India.Its is the only game and will be the only game for the country even after 1000 yrs.The players are idols and put on such a high pedestal.The moment they start playing bad they are rudely overthrown and attacked including families and properties.My sincere adviced to people visiting India is don't expect to see any other sports on TV or Newspaper as it does not exist.Everyday is cricket season.Don't speak against cricket or cricketers and that will make life easier and safer for you.The best part is after all that madness the country does not have any players worth mentioning.Its easy to pick a team as everyone here is cricket savy and every individual from the streets to the ones travelling on luxurious automobiles are capable of playing the game but sadly there is no one capable of winning the world cup.Its tough selecting a team from the billions as the same billions can play cricket.
