one day we perform puja with these idols, and the very next day we burn their effigies... the gods of yesterday become demons of today... the so-called fans of the sport cannot even accept the fact that the opponents played a better game and so took the honors... dudes, when are you guys going to mature?

Seeing the performence of India in world cup against minnows we would not like to get mature,if we perform puja than we expect some performance from them and they are carrying the tricolor flag in their hands then they must stand accountable for the lost with minnows to the 100 crore people of India.

It is not the question of maturity.it is agony of billion people.India team is not monows.they are well experienced and capable of playing better than this.It is protest against their lackdiasical performance aganist the babies of the cricket.Had they lost to Australians, the poeple of india would not have made such furror. Please try to understand theie feelings.Had they really put up great fight and lost the match that would have different case. But their meek surrounder to the bangla tigers hurt our pride.they deserve more than that.they become millionaire just because of adulation by the people of India. ramesh.y ,warangal

You have made a great point. The reaction (or lack thereof) of Australian fans during their recent losing streak shows their confidence and faith in their players. This is not about patriotism - the difference is the Australians are truly the best side. We think our side is the best for emotional reasons, but look at our record - we are not the best, not even close. In this particular instance Bangladesh outplayed us in every department of the game through aggressive bowling , fielding and sensible batting. The Bangladesh side deserve full credit. The Indian team now needs to clearly identify what their game plan will be for the next two games.
