cricket is a team game. His first priority should be to see that team wins.

maybe no chance of losing, but time was a factor wasnt it, Kumble traditionally bowls lots and lots of overs to get wickts? we were not there just to draw, we had to win. We have the benefit of hindsight now and say there was plenty of time, but yet at that time time was a factor

The reasons could be very different from what we percieved on the TV. He was too close to 200. He could have asked him to finish in a matter of 1-2 overs. But declaring that way, Rahul has shown very bad example as a captain and showed how much some of the other cricketers are jealous of his achievements. and certainly the mistake is on the other side. my dear. We were never in a position to loose that match. I want just one more example please!
