Good-bye

I am not a cricketer or cricketing expert as you guys seem to be, but i am a fan and I do have my own views on Sachin. I simply havent enjoyed watching Sachin after 2003, when he is longer the force he was. His test record is not at all as good as was meant to be, all his test records are soon going to be dust very soon and his tremendous ODI records too, though that will take a longer time, of course I still believe he deserves his place in the Indian side, and I hope he gets a wonderful parting gift of winning WC, but honestly looking at our poor bowling i dont think we can win the WC. I think Sachin would have been better off if he had been born as an Australian or if he had taken up some individual sport.
I never am a hero worshipper and never will be.
As a parting shot I hope I am wrong about Sachin being a spent force. I hope he proves me wrong. I will keep my fingers crossed :)

your views are welcome, Now look at Sachin's complete cricket carrier, he started at 16, he proved himself ,people likes his style of playing very attractive. then he started breaking records after records. but because of injuries his cricket hampered and because continious injuries he stop playing all strokes he has. may be because fear of injuries. even Manjrekar said this. now if u say he has he does not deserve place in team, sorry frnds u don't have his replacement. u already burnt your fingers by removing Ganguly. our problem is don't have good new young player, this fact is even accepted by Dilip and Ranjsingh Dungarpur. in the South Afrika when most of our players failed, we asked Ganguly to come and mind u this we did not because Ganguly was playing better but because others were not playing well, this fact was accepted by Ganguly himself that he got selected because of others failuer. Now may be Sachin is not playing well but imapact on other team makes the difference. so don't say we don't need him.

Neither we are hero worshippers. But unduly criticism is not correct. thats what i feel. He has performed well earlier and i feel he is still capable(though not what he sued to be some years back). But u can be sure that he will atleast try to prove u wrong. :)
