Why would we Indians be like this? We sold our country to Britishers a few hundred years back and led a slave life under their rule.
With difficulty Gandhiji got us freedom. Now we sell ourself to these politicians and cricketers. Stop this utter shameful act and focus on developing our country. Put country's interest above your personal favorites.
We all know that Sehwag, Irfan, or Tendulkar haven't done anything close to even 30% success rate in the last 18 months? Who included these jokers in the team and what cost?
Vengsarkar is not God and for that matter nobody in our country is above others. We live in a country where we have equal rights and if that calls for Vengsarkar answering general public he has to face them. He is no God and he is answerable to our free society.

i honestly believe that irfan has personal problems. he has this girlfriend in south africa and it is weighing heavily on his mind. i do not care what people say that it will not affect his cricket - i believe that it will, purely because he is thinking of her allt he time and she is so far away from her. he shuold just admit that he has a special lady friend in south africa - he will feel better in himself and his cricket will improve.

No, he is not answerable to our society, get your facts right! Do not make emotionally colored statements. The BCCI charter awards it complete autonomy in its functioning, also the major revenue sources for the BCCI are proceeds from the sales of tickets and selling of sponsorship rights to TV channels!! Do not make statements like an uneducated loafer!

What is the point you are trying to make here? We all know there is no justification for including players like Sehwag, Irfan, and Tendulkar. Are you saying BCCI included them in the world cup team and NOT Vengsarkar? I am confused....

BCCI appoints the selection committee, so the decisions taken by the slectors are in effect decsions taken by the BCCI. If you think there is no justification for including tendulkar and Sehwag, well then you are one more who does not understand the game of cricket!

A game like world cup the experience really matters. What we need is to trust our players and be with them rather than yelling at them. India got really good cricketers like sachin, shewag, dhoni, pathan and so on...They are all match winners, and we need such people. Would it be really good idea sending inexperienced players to play world cup? I dont think so...
