If Irfan was not selected everyone in India would be upset.......and atleast Irfan has proven himself unlike RP singh and VRV singh.....u cannot depend on them.......i am sure he'll regain his form and if he does, as a bowling allrouder he could win the WC for India

Why would everyone be upset? I dont think everyone wanted Pathan to be included in the team. His form with the ball as you mentioned is pathetic, and with batting he is ok(avg 25 in ODIs). As it is, i dont think he will ever be among the first choices for the staring XI. He will mostly remain a tourist.

dude 25 for an allrounder is not a bad avg..
I am sure you know who is the best all rounder india has ever produced, but i doubt you know his average its just 23... similarly Botham,akram, Hadles, imram khan...they avg around 25..

and its an accepted fact that allrouders are always crucial to team's sucess and balance...and if there is one in india currently..its only Irfan Pathan!
