Well, I am one of the suckers who will watch it on Dish and pay 200 bucks for it. Nothing like watching it live on big screen tv with a group of friends. Done the internet for low priority matches. Works well, but not the World Cup man.
This is one reason we have both Dish and Directv... because one of the two always gives the teleacst

"The restaurants generally included dinner in the ticket as it was generally night in the United States when the matches were played."
I think echostar is wrong on above part.
Is it all day matches? so will be day matches in USA also since there is very small time difference between USA and Carrabian.

I would be watching it on Directtv. It also has the rights of the WC telecast.

Directv sucks dude. Their customer support awful. If you have any tech issues you are done. They dont know how to fix it and you will be wasting lot of time by fixing the issue mean while the worldcup is over.
I am not a fan of either Dish or Directv, but I had very bad experience in my past with Directv gusy.

Better still, one can use BROABBAND viewing thru Willow.Tv - no tech issues and streaming is as good as any telecast. Also, one can hook-up laptop to Big Screens (TV or Projectors) to have more fun.
