It is really wonderful that Dish TV is telecasting cricket in US. When Kelly claims that the company invested $50K and only 66 customers bought the package. I want to take the package to view the cricket, however, the package is too expensive ($199.00). If the package costs $99.00 I would say atleast 70% of cricket lovers would be interested in taking the package.

they are putting too big money into it.. when the customers are not as big as it is in major cricket playing nations, the prices will be high to get back the investment price. its economics. so the more following cricket accquires in the US, the sooner prices will come down. and we have to pray that it happens soon! until then, we got to live with it!

The economics is not that simple. If now with $200 package they are able to sell to lets say 10 customers. with $100 a package they will surely able to sell to 25 people. In total they will be in profit only. I am sure they would have done proper research before deciding the price of it.
