Australian Feedback

As an Australian, I'm really impressed at the tone of the messages on this discussion board. The Australian team is regularly criticised internationally for being arrogant, yet to contributors to this board have focused positively on their cricket skills and have showed great sportsmanship by recognising a good effort by the Australian team during the tournament, rather than just being critical and upset. This supports my belief that Indian fans have a balanced view on cricket and an unequalled passion and knowledge of the game. I believe that the Indian team will rise to the top once again very soon %u2013 there is so much cricket talent in the country just waiting for a chance. I am very much looking forward to this great cricketing nation returning to its best!

Gilchrist cheated to win the world cup final, 2007....

Drugs enhance athletes to achieve records; use of drugs is illegal for athletes and banned.
Use of heavy cricket bat is illegal which do not meet specification of ICC.
Using a squash ball in glove by Gilchrist to bat extraordinarily is it not illegal to win world cup final, 2007?
If any of the Asian team done this illegal act of Gilchrist, ICC would have stripped the cup and had given it to the opposite team%u2026

What a disgrace to the Cricket sport!

Shame to Australian team!!!

Do you really think using a squash ball was illegal?! He simply put it in his glove! The way you are presenting the issue, one would think he loaded it with dynamite, lit the fuse and launched it at a Sri Lankan batsman during an over! I'll bet we don't see an ICC resolution banning squash balls in gloves in the future, indicating that it is a non-issue for Australians or our good friends in the sub-continent.

What is disgraceful and shameful however is that the Australian cricket team refusing to confirm the rumours that Gilly is actually a boundary-hitting robot constructed by the Australian Cricket Academy - don't believe me? - those huge things attached to the side of his head are not ears, they are actually over-sized solar panels to power that thing. Ever wonder why his performance is not as good when the sun goes down..........

Have a terrific day.
