Happy Birthday Sachin! Something for the people who are calling for your head: Well guys, success and failure are parts of life. Till yesterday (before WC 2007) Sachin was an intimate part and parcel of all Indian households; like a family member. However, after India's unceremonious exit in the 1st round, Sachin has been abused like hell; as if he no more belong to our INDIAN FAMILY. Why guys? Had he been born in your own families, would you have disowned him, the way some of you have done in the recent past. Hmm! Think over it guys; don't be so ungrateful to a legend, a patriot, and a true Indian. Treat him as your brother and show him how proud you are to have a brother like him. And I know you guys have just reacted; now is the time to act. Act as his brothers. He is still a legend. If you have any problems with 'our' legend, then ask ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LEGENDS ABOUT ANOTHER LEGEND: Steve Waugh (one of the best captains of modern day cricket), Shane Warne (the highest wicket taker in tests), even Sir Don Bradman! Come on Sachin, dikhhade (tera jalwa)... Happy birthday to you Sachin - the Legend!

Please do not talk sentiment brother....... If all our brothers and sisters and dads were to keep on playing for the National team Its not cricket you are playing, winning or loosing is not the question, spilling guts and showing charactre is the issue. Look at Jayasurya.. if you are not delivering please quit. There are many youngsters waiting in the wings. Place in the Indian Team does not Patent Rights for one live on his past laurels.

Dude, Dont be so emotional. We made Sachin a hero and wanted to him to continue to be a hero. Thats the part and parcel of the problem.
you cannot keep on thiking about what happended 4 years back and keep on saying I did this, I did that. Wt matters is wt you did in the near past in the last year, wt you do today and wt you wanted to do in the near future.
Appraisals in a company will be given to you on the basis of your performcance in the last quarter, not becusae you did extreemly well 4 years back.
This is simple logic. Sachin is paid to do a job and if he cant perform his responsibilitties to the best of his abilitties, he should be either kicked out or he himself go out. Simple logic.
Remember nobody, even the most sachin's critic doesnt want him to go out of team. Wt they want is a good show from him and learn how to play crucial innings and protect the team for defeats. SIMPLE.
