well dear sachin if 110 crore people have been throwing brickbats at you- i tell u straight from my heart- this is INDIA, land of the ungrateful- we ourselves slapped dhyan chand on his face- look at the condition of our hockey now. lemme ask all of them throwing abuses- i challenge u- can u go out there and play for ONE DAY- bearing in mind you'll have to face brickbats from 100 crore fools with abuses if you fail- none of them can- everyone has damn good voices in screaming for sachin's retirement- but none to emulate him, none to play like him- none to shoulder what he did for 18 years- we all do what we are known for- the ungrateful lot of illiterate asses. I definitely wouldnt underrate Sachin's cricketing abilities, but definitely out of 110 crores population, India is losing on many more Sachins because of dirty politics, poverty and lack of root level talent search by the BCCI. Sachin is one of the best and may be one of the greatest Cricket had seen, but he's definitely not the only one, he has competitors like Lara, Viv Richards, Kapil Dev etc in his contemporary world itself. Now its time for India to inject new blood with much more POWER and PACE to suit to the current cricketing trends. No offense meant for Sachin though.
