Two set of Teams needed.
by Jogesh Joseph on Apr 22, 2007 07:34 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Any player has a prime time when everything he does whether its bowling, batting or fielding or keeping wickets worls well.

Life also has another side.

Fortunes change.Best performers loose their cutting edge and age starts showing its ugly face.

Brian Lara is a case in point---announcing his end-of innnings at great moment like the World Cup--earning the the Standing Ovation and walking home Proud and wit Grace.

Does any of our old--wornout players like Sewag,Sachin,Ganguly,Harbajan have the guts to say --We will take a break for atleast the next 1 year and play only Domestic and County matches--and also help a string of new generation players to showcase their armours ??????????? I DOUBT--BECAUSE THEY WOULD ASK--WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY ADVERTISEMENT / ENDORSEMENT EARNINGS ?????

Chappel's Job was to take Indian criket 2 new heights ? NOT TO HIT SIXES AND PLAY FOR INDIA-------WAS HE GIVEN AN ABSOLUTE FREE HAND IN THE SELECTION OF THE PLAYING ELEVEN ?

he was given the license to split the team which was so well developed by wright and ganguly, all he did was divide n rule and try to mask his own failures in terms of strategy the prime example of which was the decision to bat first against bangladesh in the world cup
