Blaming someone is very easy. If our players would have played efficiently, how could India succumb to the ulterior plans (if any) of Chapell? But I appreciate you for saying "It's never easy sacking somebody, however incapable and inefficient he/she may be," and it fits perfectly for SACHIN, AGARKAR, ZAHEER etc. As to say more I would like to remind Mr Gavaskar about his own performance in 1983 world cup, in which he made every attempt to bring the Team India on knees by playing ZERO against Zimbavbe and 16 against WestIndies in final. Mr Gavaskar first repair your own house then discuss the defects of other's home later.

Extremely selfish ex-players like Gavaskar cann't do any good to any Organisation. He can only criticise out of Jealousy. Mr.Gavaskar just look back at your own career and your on-field and off-field Tantrums and decide if you have even 1% moral right to criticise Greg Chappel or for that matter anybody else!

so why dont Mr Gavaskar take the responsibility of coaching the Indian team. It is well known that Mr Gavaskar played for himself and his personal records. He does not have courage to take challenge like coaching Team India.

he did not score 16 in the WC finals. Check it out. He scored one run if I remember right.
