I cant understand the logic behind this tirade against Chappell!
Wasn't Gavaskar part of the panel which gave the green signal for Greg's selection when he first submitted his application for the coach's position ? and now why is Sunny crying hoarse about Chappell not having done his job ?
Sunny should make sure that his dignity is intact - only before the World Cup began, Sunny made some stupid comments about the Aussie team behavior and now India is out of the World Cup and the Aussies are cantering along without a single loss! Sunny left with his feet in his ever chattering mouth!!
How long are we gonna find excuses for our below-par performances! first you hire a foreign coach-then the team doesnt follow his plans/advices and fails - and suddenly the blame game shifts with fingers pointing at the same person, who was unanimously appointed few years ago! whats going on here, I dont understand! give us a frig*ing break, Sunny, I have always been a big fan of your technical brilliance during your career, and also your shrewd cricketing brain - but your on-and-off dumb statements are embarassing, to say the least! where were you, when dada was struggling to change his game against short-pitched bowling ? it was Greg's help that corrected Dada's technique - likewise, our bowlers have never gotten due support/advice not only from you, from any other former Indian player for that matter - all that people like Sunny do, is sit and criticise! go, have a life and give us a breather!
