Nathan Astle, Inzy , Damien Martyn, Steve harmison, Shane Warne and now Brian Lara have all retired gracefully one way or another from ODI cricket. After this week, you will see McGrath, and maybe Pollock, Jayasuriya, Vaughan and few others calling it quits. What's the difference between these players and our selfish jokers? The above players mentioned left ODI cricket when they knew their time was up or they would be booted off. Whatever the case they did not have so much drama, attention and time waste on them. Also they played with passion for their countries respectively. Shame on Indian players, the selection committee, the board, the captain for making a mockery of the sport!! And coach Chapell needs to be asked a few questions as well for ruining indian cricket.
Unless the new team doesn't win a tri-one day series against any the top 5 teams on the road fans should not attend any home games in India period. Otherwise these players will feel like they are kings of the world which is the main problem. They are given so much importance that they forget they are representing a sport. Here in the US they would have been lost and forgotten a long time back!! Tendulkar should have retired after the 2003 WC? Any comments I will answer because I have answers to all the questions!!
