It is just a waste of time to blame individuals. We have been beaten fair and square by teams and all our "super stars" looked very ordinary indeed. They lacked class when it mattered. Practically, the paupers gave the billionaires a run for the money and exposed them.
It is crystal clear that we have lost it on fast and seaming wickets. Sri Lanka and even Bangla Desh looked much more comfortable. Our batsman were like monkeys on hot bricks.
Unless we can prepare fast and seaming pitches, reality will always stare at us. Are we looking at the real issue or looking at individuals to put blame. I feel that we should take a dispassionate review and performance should only be the criteria.
Gavaskar can only point fingures without taking any active role. He knows which side of the bread is butter.
Please study how Sri Lanka has become world beaters from nothing within a short time. Their depth is so good that even a second eleven will perform better than our "super stars".
