the so callled god of cricket tendulkar succumbed in this world cup, ok agreed he cant score a century everytime, but what happend on south africa tour,,he underperformed and the tour was disaster, remember when india toured australia few years back? it was a total disaster,,, mr tendulkar cannot play under pressure ,he can score centuries against weak teams and on dead pitches, and morever guys he definitely has a attitude problem,, he was against azharuddin and now he wants captiancy again when board has given him the signal to retire, he has played enough and everyone knows that he one player who plays for his personal records and not for the team to win, he strugles as soon as he reaches 90 , so guys dont you all think he should make room for youngsters now? or should he continue playing till 2011 world cup, dont you all think that its too far to tendulkar, having played in 4 world cups , its time for him to call it a day,

you mean to say tendulkar did not play well under azharudin? how foolish u are? in 1998 under azhar we won six odi cup wins out of which sacshin was man of series in three.in 1998,under azhar he has scored 1894 runs in a single calender year(record till know).it was under sachins captaincy that all the team members let him down do you remember when india toured australia in 1997 dravid scoring 95 runs in 3 tests,saurav scoring a single 50.you are so filled with hatred against sachin that you cant even realise that in 90s almost all tournaments won by india were because of sachun

Tendulkar should lead India to save Indian Cricket, he is matured a lot and we should make use of him, he should lead the Indian side in the next world cup... Dravid dont have leadership quality. Tendulkar should become Captain...... He will perfom well definitely

Did Sachin have the leadeship capabilitties? Remmebrs a gerat player cannot become a great leader.
Sachin struggled to captain the side wheenever he got the chance 2 times in the past. Sachin is a perfecioanist and he wanted ll others to be the same which is always not possible. This makes him frustrated and gets tensed too soon. We have seen this in the past a lot of times.
So In my perspective , Sachin is not a good candidate for Captaincy. If you have to have along- term plan, then make somebody like Yuvraj or Dinech Karthik captain and make these seniot players like sAchin, Saurav, Dravid play on a rotation basis to make the captain adjust o the pressures and get used to the Captaincy.
