Great Sachin

Sachin is great. Chappell deliberately tried to destroy his career. He should have been opening in World Cup but Dravid is jealous of Sachin and masterminded his downfall.

Dear Atkins,

Just because Sachin has played a knock and scored some runs, don't jump too much. Let him show some consistency in scoring and winning matches for India.

For God's sake don't create your aspirations on Greg and Rahul, etc. Greg is a great coach, we have lost him now, and Dravid is a fine gentleman.

When u are writing in public domain, be decent and share your good thoughts, in decent language/words, which people can enjoy reading.

With best wishes,

Sachin, much hyped Master blaster should play at any position whereever team needs him to play. He has been failing from long time. last 2003 worldcup and the one sharjah'99 are only 2 such instances where he proved his calibre. But, he is quite far to prove himself as a player. He is in team only by past performance and reputation and nothing else.we Indians should kick any player who doesn't perform.

Greg was not a great coach. What was his coaching experience dude? Greg was more hype than he actually is. Great coaches have always been low profile players in their career.

shridhar how can you say greg was a great coach. his coaching record with south australia is mediocre and with India is average. He was certainly not "great"!!Chappel created tension in the dressing room with his highhanded and underhanded tactics. He alienated himself from the players, that is exactly the one thing a coach cannot do. The job of a coach is to strategize and motivate, but chappell wanted to be more of a selector. If you look at the Chappel brothers (read about them and their books) you will see they are not very nice people, they are abrasive, opinionated and very full of themselves. All these attributes are ok, if the person in front of you is also like that or if you are providing "expert" comments. But these attributes are absolutely lethal when you are the coach of the Indian cricket team during a stressful period for the team.
