Everything went against dravid in this tournament. 1. bad team selection 2. Mediocre bowlers, overhyped batsmen! He has been overall very unlucky. Few lbw decisions in the match against SL were really unfortunate. Overall his captaincy isnt very good.

Good analysis by us, greatrr and Shishir. BCCI is a gutless and characterless body. It is not being held in high esteem by either the players or others. Just remember how Ponting teased and made fun of Pawar. It has no image of transperancy. With the arrival of a politician at it helm of affairs things are becoming more obscure and hypocrisy is evident. These politicians have no guts at all. They can not take any harsh decisions but ride on the wave of public sentiments and emotions. Dalmiya, whatever be the allegations against him, was the last good thing that happened to BCCI.
