Younis, you're showing the way
by Sanjay Ranawat on Apr 13, 2007 04:02 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The game of cricket is heavily criminalised and commercialised by ODI and now Twenty Twenty is going to make it a circus. Mr. Younis Khan, you're showing the right way by telling that you want to quit ODI and concentrate on Test Cricket. This is a superb decision from a player of your calibre. Sachin, Ganguly, Harbhajan, Sehwag should listen and take note of what you have said and follow your example. Hats off to you.

Yes man !! Sachin , Sehwag , Ganguly should learn from him

But we as fans should not learn from what he said............. Good point.............

They are players , we pay to watch them play, if they do not perform we should stop watching and watch something else ..... but why should we resort to involve their families to this ????

fans get angry becos sachin, dravid, etc are not just players. if that were so, they would be dropped for not performing and people would get on with their lives. but these fellows have a knack of getting selected despite their non-performance. this is the real cause of peopl's anger. have you ever seen anger in india at cricket failures lost this long? so you see, the so called players are good politicians and manage to stick on without doing what is expected of them

Ashok,

Even so, it does not justify threatening someones family. That's just really cheap (and criminal).

I think certain things are above the game ..a life for instance..I dont think pak players are involved and they seem demoralized, cant rule anything out as yet, however like they say u can never indict anybody untill proven..and maybe it was natural death, anyways Jamaica police are worse then 3rd world??does the word offend??..cunt..trees..let all the players of both india and pak retire ..maybe then we can hope for some transperency and performance..
