Dravid is not a powerful leader and has no self belief. He is too introvert & self centered to be a captain. For his selfish act and self interest he (with the help from another two similar minded person Greg& More ) turned the 'Team India'( inherited from great Ganguly era) to a collection of great players. If you can%u2019t build a team then you can not be a team leader. Without a 'team' you can't win. Consequently we dropped from ICC ranking 2 to 6. He has no influencing power and doesn't have any charisma to be a captain. He himself understands that. That%u2019s why now he got another a couple of south colleagues (Prasad & Sing) to get the help, support and the 'power' to make the players agree to his silly plans. Remember if that plain fails he will complain like a child that his players didn%u2019t support him.
A person who can%u2019t lead himself how can he lead 1.2 billion people ?
If a simple man like me can understand, why all the so called experts and knowledgeable BCCI persons can%u2019t understand that?
I think they do understand. But this is the board politics and the part of the arrangement how they came into power. The current management doesn%u2019t care about Indian cricket . As long as they are in power and get the money everything else is fine. DRAVID IS THEIR YES MAN. They just want to put people%u2019s attention to something different, so that they are not judge by their own performance.
The players should go if they are not performing. But so do the captain, coach & the BCCI management. Because of their combined effort India has slipped down to ICC ranking 6, from ICC ranking 2, when they took power from the previous board.
Only in India we sack our most successful captain after a series win while the captian scored a ton in his last test innings. But we keep our captain (and probably our coach too if he wanted to stay) after such a measurable performance in world cup, champions trophy and so on%u2026.
I think we should change attitude towards cricket tournaments. Just like Olympics we should say participation is the main thing. We don%u2019t want to win; all we want our good boy Dravid as captain. The team won%u2019t win and the players won%u2019t demand. After all its BCCI who are there to control the players and show who are in charge. Not to help or listen to the player or sort our player%u2019s or support%u2019s problem.

If Vengsarkar did not sign the BCCI selection (not selectors' selection) of Rahul Dravid as a captain again, it should be raised again on 20th April meeting and sack Dravid from Captaincy. Dravid is a spineless, slave.
Indian cricket will be saved if Dravid is sacked.
He and Greig Chappell damaged the TEAM-INDIA in last two years.
Dravid is so CHEAP person that he even did not resign from captaincy and again accepted the captaincy. He never got education how to show and give dignity of moral values.
Sachin is still asset of the INDIAN cricket. See how whole team break down when Sachin gets out. Then Mr. Gum (Wall) even cannot save or win the match. Mr. Gum also exploited Sachin many times.

motivation shud be questioned. other players' ganguly played like a match fixer in all the matches in this WC. he played slowly in the match against bermuda too. against bagladesh he was terribly slow. he must be grilled by anti corruption sleuths questioning his intentions. dravid's odi batting average against SA and australia is better than ganguly and sachin both are opeining batsman? but dravid batting in outside india against strong bowling line up is better than ganguly and sachin ganguly was non performing captain for later 3yers of his captaincy but survived in team b'cuz of influence of dalmaiy. ganguly did not deserved to XII man team b'cuz his poor form and pathatic batting but he did not loose captaicny bajji went wktless and gave too many runs he latested achievement is that HE WAS INFORMED BY ICC TWICE FOR HIS WRONG ACTION. DHONI can bat only on dead ptiches of subcontinent and failed in WI SA. dinesh karhik is better wkt keeper and opened innings and won 20-20 match in SA it is unfortuante 2 ex captains are playing petty politics in dressing room with the strong marathi lobby and politicians support sachin and ganguly great players should fight battle on ground no more backstage politics if senior players are not supporting captain why don't blame the individual players dravid played under leaderhsip of sachin and ganguly he gave 100% to team, supported captain and perfomed against all strong teams and won many odis and tests. Why not so called super stars can not reciprocate it gangstar ganguly and his chelas like bajji, dhoni, zahirkhan should be out of team Sl players are playing better cricket with positive attitude and like a unit Winning and defeat of team depands on performance of XI players irrespective of coach, pitch, stretagy and conditions. Bangladesh and SL victory against India is best example

Have you seen the strike-rate of the other Indian players on that day? Ganguly's stike rate was much better than DRAVID or Sachin. Also check the latest SA Vs Bangladesh match and the strike rate of the big hitters.
India could not even play 50 overs against Bangladesh. Ganguly was playing the anchor role and if he stayed till the end we would have reached 220 at least.
Main problem was the decision of Dravid to bat first and even seeing the condition he could find out what would be a defendable score on that track. Kept on sending note to hit sixes that%u2019s how Ganguly got out.
192 was still defendable if Mr. Know it all Dravid should have showed a better common sense captaincy and asked Munaf to start the bowling. He should have used Sachin /Sehwag / Yuvraj much earlier in the match after seeing the Bangladeshi bowlers. Could have asked for Ganguly%u2019s suggestion instead of going with his own big ego.
First ask the motivation of our captain, he must be grilled by anti corruption sleuths questioning his intentions. How come kept on playing super flop Sehwag on SA tour ? Also how come we kept on playing non-scoring Uthappa for continuous 3 matches in important tournament like WC?
Why we were out of Champions trophy in the first round as well? We had a young team, world most successful & intelligent Captain Mr.Rahul Dravid and the best strategist Guru Greg Chappell? Same for the ODIs in SA, we only started wining after Ganguly joined and started scoring some runs and uplift the moral of the team.

It was only Dravid who laged lone battle against srilanka when these heroes failed miserably. He could have gone 3rd or 4th down against bermuda to score a century if he was selfish and if he had to act like ganguly or tendulkar. but he proved that he was a team man by giving chance to Tendulkar, yuvraj and sehwag by promoting them them in batting order. rahul dravis has been indias most consistent batsman since the 1999 world cup......its mot me....but the records who are saying tht........ , odi batting average in home all the batsman are better then their overall averages.

ganguly is root cause of problem he promoted groupism he played negative cricket and had a big role in defeat he betrayed dalmiay, sachin and dravid gnaguly and his gang should be out of team india
