What BCCI should do to improve our Cricket?
by Indian on Apr 10, 2007 11:03 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

BCCI should restrict the number of matches/year:

I strongly believe that BCCI should restict the number of ODI's to 30/year and test to 12/year. This will definately help the team. They are playing Cricket like daily job. ODI's have become just like another day at work.

Yes, restricting the no of matches in an year would definitely help the team, in the sense the max no of ODI's India will loose in a year will be 30 and the max no of Tests India can loose will be 12...

Mumbai: Nobody may confirm, but there apparently were phases in recent times when captain Rahul Dravid had to act as a %u2018messenger%u2019 between coach Greg Chappell and most players.
Sounds unbelievable, but it reportedly did happen.
The complete breakdown in communication meant Dravid, an introvert himself, had to face the

music. It%u2019s anybody%u2019s guess just how much it affected him as a person and as a cricketer.
%u201CDravid has come through a very tough period,%u201D is what somebody in the know told The Telegraph on Saturday, the day after the World Cup review.
Meanwhile, Dravid hasn%u2019t only been backing Virender Sehwag both inside and outside selection meetings %u2014 he stood by all his players during the review.
%u201CAt least one official specifically asked about the attitude of certain players, but Dravid insisted there had been nothing wrong with anybody%u2019s behaviour,%u201D revealed a well-placed source.
The gentleman added: %u201CThroughout, Dravid kept saying if anybody had to be faulted, it would be him... His attitude enhanced the already high respect he enjoys...%u201D
Dravid has kept the captaincy and, on the face of it, shouldn%u2019t have problems with stand-in cricket manager (coach) Ravi Shastri. There%u2019s enormous repair work to be done and, so, their task is cut out.

Pl know, what chappal told about ganguly,

On Sourav Ganguly: "He has practiced most of what I had preached during the time he was out of the team. He has shown plenty of determination in winning his place back. I hope he continues to work hard on his fitness and score heavily for the team."

Dravid as a captain, its really horrible.
Its seems a lamb will lead a team of tigers..

Again dravid is selected as captain by the board.
Actually this decision should be taken by the
selectors. It indicates that south lobby were
presurising BBCi to make a dravid as a hopeless
captain.

Hence it proves that dravid is a leader
of mafia, gunda. and now he ia having god father in bbci.
