stat tells the diff story
by Suman Bhat on Apr 10, 2007 11:28 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Dravid as odi captain has done equally good job when compared to ganguly' s 5 yrs achievement

JG Wright 130 68 56 6/0 52.30

GS Chappell 62 32 27 3/0 51.61

SC Ganguly 146 76 65 5 52.05%

R Dravid 65 33 28 4 50.77%

The difference of odi wnnin average is only 1% when compared to succss of ganguly & john AND dravid and chappell

Ganguly and john had advanatage of leading team more Nos of matches( almost double) and for five yrs and dravid and ccahppell did not even completed 2 yrs

IN NDTV big cricket poll survey %u2013 which was conducted by among 15 state criciket associations 80% ppl voted for dravid to retain captaincy

Retain Dravid as captain, Sachin should quit ODIs

Should Rahul Dravid be replaced as the captain of the Indian team?

And the answer was in the negative with 86 per cent saying he should not be removed with only nine per cent saying that he should be replaced.

The rest five per cent did not have any opinion.

Dravid as a captain won most of the matches in Indian soil !!!!!!! DADA has done well in foreign soil !!!!!!!! He is the best !!!!!!!! Dravid doesn't know to use the players!!!! for example Dravid should have selected Pathan instead of Uttapa or Shewag in the league matches Or send Sachin and Shewag in the opening slots!!!!!!!!!!!The same pair smashed Waqar and Shoaib in 2003 world cup !!!!!!!!! That's how we won many matches in 2003!!!!!!

dravid was thrown in the dustbin

by the selectors from ODI.

it was ganguly, who shaped his career

as ODI perfect player..

but this dravid dicthed ganguly,

played polities with chappel to remove

ganguly from indian teams..

he seems very innocent by look,

i m telling he is real culprit

for destroying indian team..

'Team India'brand was wellknown

during Dadas capatincy..

Pl know, what chappal told about ganguly,

On Sourav Ganguly: "He has practiced most of what I had preached during the time he was out of the team. He has shown plenty of determination in winning his place back. I hope he continues to work hard on his fitness and score heavily for the team."

Dravid as a captain, its really horrible.

Its seems a lamb will lead a team of tigers..

Dravid is giving a percenrage of his income to this fool to write foolish blogs in the net...as far as world cup is concerned he is a total failure..he couldn't even reach the semis of champions trophy held in India...India were winnig under him as India played first 4 series under his captaincy on the subcontinent soil..and when the team when out of subcontinent it is gone...a captain who cannot lift the team spirit is of no use....perhaps they will win in bangladesh(perhaps no one can say if so called young players like raina and benugopal are again selected)...and they will loose miserably on england soil 'cos of this fool called rahul dravid
