Firstly, I protest. Chetan Chouhan was never the finest Opening Batsman. He, in his days, used to fumble & tremble, was a mere of shadow of Sunny. So, his assessment would definitely be like his batting, a mere 25 after a struggle of six hours on a placid wicket.
Now, come to "Dravid' ability as a Captain" - Dravid is basically a good workman or follower not a good leader. He cannot take bold decisions one after another. If he takes such decision once (calling back Sachin), does not have the courage or conviction to repeat the same. May be his typical middle-class background is responsible for this. U see, leaders are born not created, such as, Imran Khan, Kapil Dev, Yan Chappel, Clive Lloyd - they are all born leaders.
Rahul was not, is not and cannot be a good leader 'cause his personality, language, tone & modulation of Voice, body language are not like a leader. He is not simply imposing enough.

chetan chauhan never got a test hundred and was a strkeless wonder and dravid can match him as a captain. dravid has destroyed saurav's team India and are trying to make it team of bunch of puppets.

it is not captain but senior players let down the team. if some players are not ready to support team cause and played deliberately negative cricket and gifted match to Bangla and SL it is not faulut of captain but the players should take the blame.Dravid always a team player and always supported his captain and have stood for the team. Remember those 4 years where he acted as a wicket keeper even though he is not a regular keeper. He took the pain for the benefit of the team. So called great Sachin refused and still refusing to play in the middle order and crying that I want to play only as an opener and crying that my attitude was questioned and so on%u2026
Captai never asked Sachin always get out inside edge onto the pad and clean bowled in a match where he needs to perform.
Captain never asked Saurav to go over the top and play a silly shot where the need of the hour is play sensibly and play more over and get a good century and make the India to win.
Captain never asked Yuvraj to go for a silly run where there is no run and get out.
Captain never asked Dhoni to play back to a ball where you need to come forward and play.
Captain never asked agarkar to bowl full tosses in the final overs so that guys like Arnold and Vas can hit him for fours and sixers.
Captain never asked Harbhajan to concentrate on bowling his 10 overs for only 40 and don%u2019t take any wickets.
Captain never asked Saurav to drop the catch where as Murali in the same catch held on to a very difficult catch. senior players played deliberately negative cricket and betrayed the team Captain never said that. Players, have some Responsibility playing for your country

There may be people supporting different old war horses, but it is simple and true that Ganguly and Tendulkar are mainly responsible for team India's pathetic performance in the world cup. Dravid's winning rate is no way lesser than any of his predecessors. So, why to blame Dravid for all these! He may not be aggressive in his body languate like Ganguly, but he is a thinking captain and knows better of the situations. But, he needs support from other members as well... Kick Ganguly, Tendulkar, and other big guns who has a negative attitude out of the team... Everything will be alright!
