Dravid best captain, we have. This shows the captain quality, he supports the whole team even when they are down. He has ability to bind the team again. He can show the youngsters of india, how the captain has to behave. Hats of to Dravid. You will bring sucess to India.

A good player, but his zeal to retain captaincy has brought India to this state. His dirty politics has divided the team and finished its morale. Still the guy is busy trying to get rid of Ganguly and Sehwag rather than uniting the team. What a shame ?

But Dravid is the same guy who wanted Sehwag in the WC team despite his wretched form. Now that he wanted to get rid of Sehwag? Sehwag along with Harbajan should be dumbed in Indian Ocean. They are useless

dravid has everything in him, except captaincy. He lacks leadership quality and he should be ruthleness when in the field. What we need is a thinking captain and not mere a batsman. Dravid was always depending upon Chappel as to how to go about and the result is that we were out from WC. I do not understand as to why he is being crowned / burdened again with this captaincy. This position ought to have been given to Ganguly, the most successful and proven captain.

if senior playes can get negative motivation / inspiration to group against captain, and playe deliberarly negative circket and gift the match to Bangla and SL what captain can do for taht??? A horse can be taken to water force to drink but sallowing or vomitting water will be done by horse it is senior players betryed the team and captain also no cpatin can't win matches when all the members are not with the captain. Most of the matches won by India under ganguly was because of Dravid's great knock and selfless attitude by way of keeping wickets and batting like a champion!!! Hi Suman - I do not know how so easily you can say that Ganguly bribed sidhhu and others... Shameful to even write all of this is a public forum.
I agree that you have great admiration for Dravid. Dravid is a great player - and perhaps a pillar of Indian Cricket. But Ganguly makes a better captain lets face that. And how can he pull the strings when he was not in indian cricket scene for two years.
Your stats may be correct but you got the complete deduction wrong. Think rational.
