Sachin shouldn't be dropped, he must retire and drop Saurav and Shewag.How Shastri has been appointed?Only Pawar will knows,Shastri during his tenure he was very slow batsmen in one day cricket and basically a test batsmen.Now one thing is sure that after appointing Shastri as a coach manager then current Indian one day team will becomes a test team.Dhoni,Yuvraj,Uttapa,Pathan type of batsmen will play like Ravi Shastri and slow player like Dravid will becomes more slow batsmen.I am dead sure that indian cricket team in one day will stand in bottom position. Only Sunil Gavaskar has the cricketing brain and experience to revive Indian Cricket team Who has given authority to BCCI for selecting Indian Cricket Team?I request to Hon'ble Prisident of India to terminate the BCCI officials and its functioning, Prisedent of India should take control on it, form another autonomous body.Select good players, provide them better facilities, equipment and modernise the Domestic cricket like the Australians.Polticians should be barred.

u mean gavaskar can improve indian cricket. dont u remember Gavaskar played worst than shastri. In 1975 WC he scored 35 runs in 60 overs. Shastri was better compared to sunny in his playing days.

Dear sir Gavaskar is very shrewd he doesnot want to coach indian team because he still wants AD.That's why he is sitting in commentary supporting players like sachin to play till worl-cup 2011.And by the way only test match he coached Indian team at Nagpur against Australia with John Wright India losttest and home series for thge first time in 20 years.
