RE:Venkatesh Prasad as bowling coach???? by Teri Jaat Ka Paida Maroon on Apr 07, 2007 10:12 PM   Permalink All bowlers will now be coached to a. bowl at less than 120 kph b. not bowl any bouncers at batsmen c. start bowling short pitched balls during the end overs or under pressure d. go back meekly to bowling run up if batsman abuses you e. get into unnecessary verbal duel with batsmen when you are getting hit for fours and get fines imposed on you f. not bowl opposition out when they are tottering wiuth 7 wickets down. basically not have any killer instinct at all g. just keep playing safe for a place in the next match instead of going all out as a bowler    Forward   |   Report abuse

Dravid is once again indulging in regionalism. He is more interested in pushing people from Karnataka rather than team India. Every body knows caliber of Venkatesh prasad as bowler, who could not ever bowl a ball more than 130 Km/hr in his carrier, hardly any bouncer, never looked threatening, at best he could bowl a good slower ball.
