North vs south instead of discussion on cricket
by Raj Raj on Apr 07, 2007 08:27 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It pains me to see a lot of dicsussion on north vs south politics instead of the discussion on cricket.

Rahul Dravid is a Maharastrian born in Indore and did schooling etc... in Banagalore.

How does it matter to all where he was born or what language does he speak?

I am glad that there is atleast one real Gentleman who doesn't use the maharashtrian background unlink others who have used Bengali sentiment, Bombay, Karnataka sentiment etc... a lot in the past.

why are you instigating people to start it again. everyone is involved in a nice discussing(sometimes a bit harsh) but it is part & parcel of this forum, unless it gets woese. Please avoid posting such instigating messages

Cheers

No doubt about that point, Dravid is probably the most complete best batter in India today, probably among the top 5 in the world .But as a captain, he looks stale and he is not at all aggressive like Ponting, Smith, Fleming or even Jayawardena

agreed dravid doesnot have agression as Ponting, Smith, Fleming, but he should be given a fair chance again, maybe these three series.

Who knows the defeat in WC would have changed his attitude completely

Point is "Did you guys ever ever give a chance to captain peacefully during his tenure ? Put your hand to your heart and answer this question ."

What would have happened if Ganguly and team was booted out in the first round in the previous World Cup ?
