The World Cup inquiry: What may happen
by Milton Lawrence DSilva on Apr 05, 2007 01:38 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Arvind Lavakare has nicely summed up the current scenario in Indian cricket. The status quo shall prevail because too many vested interests are involved. And money power does the rest. Indian cricket, competitive or not, will live long, as a circus - that's what it is reduced to. And it would come as no surprise if some of the seniors are still in the team at the next World Cup.

Splendid article.
I guess board should worry about the sport not about the ppl who are destroying the sport by making groups. Amazing patience and composure shown by the Indian captain even in such a situtation. Don't worry guys, he will give back to back in the meeting to be held tomorrow.
