Ramesh Powar is not good looking
by Sameer Bhagwat on Apr 04, 2007 02:55 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Ramehs Powar was not selected because he is not good looking, agents cannot sell SunFeast,Cycles, Kiwi Shoe Polish etc etc .

These cricketers don't know how much they have humiliated Indians with their spineless and gutless loss to minnows Bangladesh.

SACK THE SENIORS SACHIN PLS PLS PLS PLS RETIRE!!

Ganguly is not selfish. He played anchor innings against Bangladesh and Bermuda. Ganguly and Yuvy were the only guys who did anything worthwhile against Bangladesh. If a couple of other players could contribute some more runs against Bangladesh, India would have a better chance of winning the match and making it into Super Eight.
Sometimes slow and steady innings are needed to build a foundation and Ganguly was doing just that. Hitters are there at the other end to make quicker runs - Shewag, Dhoni, Yuvy.
The other day Jayawardane did the same thing for Sri Lanka. There are many other examples. It's only stupid Indians who raise questions when a player is steady and slow. So shut up and stop accusing Ganguly or any other player of being selfish. Earlier Dravid himself used to play slower. India lost because they played badly collectively and the opponent played better.

Remember one thing. Players of the calibre of Sachin and Ganguly don't rise that high by being unprofessional. It doesn't work that way.

If a coach begins to doubt the commitment of his own players, he is not much of a coach. He has failed to build a cohesive unit.
