Hold on guys.....

I admit that Chappell is the Indian coach and equally shares the responsibility on the Indian team being thrashed out of this world cup. Well, let me tell you that Chappell is just a new coach of te team and if you all're aware of the rotten politics in the Indian cricketing scenario, what big miracle would you have expected with another coach? Absolutely nothing!!! Think well before you bark on him, guys... Think of the dons who rule the Indian cricket. Won't you guys blame then for any of these issues? If then, I must say, you guys're insane.
Well, I'm really bothered about trhe future of Indian cricket. Unlike any other sport, cricket stands next to the film industry, in the stardom. The money that is being fed in and flown out is so huge for all of us to bear such childish attitude of the senior players. There are many players in this team who have played for more than 1 world cups. Where are they and what the hell are they doing? Why don't they model themselves for the younger / fresh players in the team? Aren;t they ashamed of all that they've been doing so far in the recent matches?
They need to remember that playing a huge innings against the newbies isn't a great thing for them to show their expertise. The people of India aren't here to see all that but to see their players and team do well against good teams. The people wouldn't shout if our team loose after a fighting game. They very well know how to accpet a convincing victory or a reasonable failure. So, the senior players should have shown their experience by leading the team in drastic situations when the team needed them a lot. Unfortunately, nothing of these happened for India in this series.
Greg has been a wonderful coach of India. He has taught the players the importance of performance in the game. He also gave Ganguly a blow, which made Sourav to bring back his lost form. He played exceptionally good in the world cup. It is not just Chappell but anybody who is going to coach India, heragain, will have tough times ahead. I still believe that a non-Indian coach will always be the best option for our team. I support Greg for his wonderful back-up for our team. I also wish, the game is fully controlled by the BCCI and not by the underworld dons. Only then will the players play and the team grow. Let's hope, all these things come true, very soon......

I think biggest problem with chappell is his ego. He has to understand that he is not goin to play for India , he is jus supporting the team. why is it that ever since chappell has taken over there have been all types of controversies. agreed that we have big players with big egos but it was almost the same team that played in 2003 world cup , has there ego changed ?
we should remind ourselves that the time when wright took over was even worse when there was an issue of match fixing. I think chappell tried to became bigger than the players which could not happen ... from outside wat one feels is that he wants to hold the team .. he always has a dig on someone who has power , earlier it was ganguly and now its almost all senior players. hittin on sachin is his biggest mistake .. he ll pay for it , he just wanted to share the limelight that players get.

Hey, but could you say that he was wrong in Ganguly's issue? No, Sourav was in a poor form when he had to go out of the Indian team. But, he came back into the team with a splendid poerformance, of which Greg was also happy about. And, he didnt "hit" Sachin as you've said. Sachin is down with several issues these days, which is reflecting in his performance. Would you expect him to hit a big score against a small team in a year or would you expect him to show a consistent performace in the game? He is a talented and well-experienced player who should lead the team in dire situations. We cannopt him and other senior players to play an easy game like this...

And above all, many players in the current team have been playing for more than 6-8 years? What about them? Would you then blame Chappell alone or them too?
See, you have to understand onething first. Blmaing is an easy job. But you gotta think that this is India and the game is cricket. its not easy to blame anybody, man...

Check out my prev msg.. Did I tell ne where that Indian coach will do some miracle... Under chappel the team has struggled and every 1 knows it. We need some 1 like John Wright who is more sensible and tolerant and who is a good LISTENER to the team's needs.

Well, I don't think that the Indian coach is to tolerate the players/board and their activities... He is to guide them in the way that he feels will do good for the team. He ought to haev the freedom to do so and the borad and the players are to move accordingly. If the things don't wrok well then, we have the right to screw the coach, but not otherwise...

Ok fine, but under which other coach, could you sya that Indian team had risen to glory? None, I believe... Any coach, be it Greg or anybody, can only guide the team through certain areas. Do you think Greg to teach Sachin / Dravid to bat propoerly or to train Anil / Harbhajan to bowl cleverly? Thats nothing, but ridiculous...
