I am sorry Vinay, perhaps you could make more sense out of the article than I did. I could not figure out what was Chappell's responsibility from the article. Wherever, our players failed seemed to have been their own responsibility. None were Chappell's. The fact that we have lost one of our most promising bowlers (Pathan) to experimentation seems, according to the author, more due to Pathan;s foolishness than Chappell's error in judgement. What is the precise job of the coach ? Perhaps you understood something that I did not.

Jaideep - You said it !! Lavkare has not grown despite decades of writing. Same meaningless "journalism" over the years. The least Lavkare could do was to identify a real cause. As an example - 99.9 % cricket analysts, lovers of the game would testify Irfan Pathan is a superior player to any one like Agarkar. But as always, Lav-Kare does not bother uski writing ko koi Love-Kare ya nahi. His drab article above concludes nothing.
