man ... wt d ya mean by performance basis.... have u seen the records of last season.. he is among the highest run getters... and just before the world cup he was man of the series (i dont remember exactly which series of the two they played).... u can not say someone failing just by two matches.... i know, he is not in his best form but still tries to give his 100%, whether it is batting, bowling or fielding....
I don't think Ganguly came to the team just because of his performance. If you check the data just before he was inducted, it wasn't something very good. He failed miserable in county and in Ranjy he scored one century, that all. I thik it's the environment. India failed badly in WI and SA series, nobody was playing good, Vengsarkar came as chief selector. I don't think he came just on the basis of performance.

Do you see what you written? I dont know what you know about cricket..learn something carry some statistics to publish what you belief dont show wrong data/ dnt be jealous of bengaly as i found few ppl are here ..DADA will rule this cricket world again -sandeep
