Beach?
by R K on Apr 02, 2007 10:06 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

He is reported to have stayed in the Hotel Taj Green Cove. They don't have a private beach? This doesn't look like a private beach to me. Trust me, if I were there, I would be looking back at him and not pointing to somewhere in the sea. If those women, whose backs are showing, are with him, where is the kid?

Even if this is Rahul Dravid, what do people want him to do? Sulk at home? Don't doctors prescribe to go to a Beach or Hill Stations to the sick or the depressed? Can't he go there for introspection? And is he supposed to wear a business suit on the beach? It is better to go shirtless on a beach than in the public view (think 'Dada').

Talking about 'Dada', the moment he comes back into the team you start reading news of the 'divided' team. 'Senior' players acting like mafia. He was kicked out amidst the same reports. Why is that? You 'dada' fanatics, Why is that?

Keep coming with your conspiracy theories and I will keep coming with mine. I 'hail' from none of the players' state and you would see a lot more of me if I were paid.

I am so disappointed about India's debacle and I come here to see people divided [language/ region/caste) in their disappointment too.

Read any of my posts on any board of rediff (news, cricket or movies) and you will see that I speak up only when rubbish is going on. (I know you won't but still wish you would before putting any allegations). Unfotunately, lot more comments on Dravid's beach picture than a finance article.

Why do you think Chappell is lying? If 'leaking rumors is the name of the game, why didn't any other 'camp' leak a refute yet? Specially from Ganguly who made his own personal ads on television, thanking his supporters, as if people go to see only his game. Maybe he is right. Some idiots only focus on their Gods. Not many care for the entire team.

If the news that ANY layer was dividing/distracting/bullying other team players, directly or indirectly, or playing politics, than seriously, THAT PLAYER MUST GO, even if he makes most run in one odd game. That is a bigger offense than losing your form for some time.

I know many Indian cricketers in the past have done this. Throwing their wicket if the captain didn't send him in the number that he wanted to go.

i agree with you R K. No matter what Ganguly says publicly, he will surely have a major grudge against Greg chappel. and it is also possible considering the aggressive person he is that he wants to get back at him.

while this is speculation, it is also possible that he deliberately batted slowly against Bangladesh. i mean its difficult to imagine a batsman of ganguly's stature scoring 60 in 130 balls against Bangladesh.
