We have lost the race world cup a year back, when Mr. Rahul dravid became captain, Chappel became coach and Kiran more at selector's side. Selctor's does'nt follow strategy to build the team and assigning the responsibilty according to the skills,capabilties and qualities. They unable to think because of their personal Grievance, greeds and egos mismanaged whole team with allocating responsibilties into incapables. Leadrship capabilty carry with the personality who leads from end with courage and positive attitude and as a team player, he binds the team flawless energy and never let the energy to diffuse. So that is what Sourav as a front end leader. And deputy is always back end...Dravid or Sachin, those who cannot lead from from front. If same strategy would have followed we would have been enjoying till another final of world cup. Just blame that Kiran more and Chappel and BCCI.
Better atleast for now for two years sourav should be captain, untill Yuvaraj learn all the strategies and quality of leadership as deputy and then as Captain. It will be strange when: 1. people or management (BCCI) think that sourav is getting aged and should not opt for Captain....Then what about Rahul and Sachin of same age group and nonperforming at any sector and thinking about temporary captain. 2. Going Backward: If Making sourav as a captain, then What sachin is now.... who was captain once and resigned and after long time He is deputy...where is the link..It is Backward step with u turn??????
It is better to give brake for both Rahul and Sachin.let them do prctise and come back like sourav

i agree. We have been losing the race for quite some time now and if something was left, then Saurav and Sachin made sure that the capitulation was complete

And again not to forget that souarv has brought India team back with Full strength after being panic in Match fixing and lossing badly at every matches during Azhar's captaincy allegations.
And India has won many trophy and series at foriegn locations during sourav's whereas Dravid only at Home country!!!!

I believe, captain should be from youth side from the very first day. He should be given atleast 4 years before next world cup to build allrounders in our team, captancy tips... Secondly we need to show faith in him for all success & failures. Well said by Narayan Murti "Choose best captain & give him full freedom for all decisions."

agree. When will the board comes to sense and gives back the crown to Sourav for the next two years and let Yuvi be the apprentice as a vice Captain during this period?
