enough of oldies resting in past laurels
by Jack on Mar 27, 2007 06:23 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Horrified to hear that Sachin will be next captain. I think he should gracefully retire now that he is not even underperforming...
He has made his crores what will he do with more?
why selectors do not dare to drop him?
Is there a hidden reason behind retaining him ?
Those who mauntain statistics, please tell us how many times that India needed him to fire and he failed (as in recent game with Srilanks, even Bangladesh)
please respond asap

Mate you are absolutely correct. But this very people who are talking against Sachin will protest like mad burning effigies of the selectors, hitting their posters with footware if they happen to drop him. People are asking who will be replacing some one of the caliber of sachin. Why they forget that some day they have to replace him? Yes tendulkar was a great player and that player cannot be replaced. But Tendulkar of now who is scoring Zeros in crucial matches can be replaced coz anyone can score Zero.
