Bashar reminded me of Dada!
by Juzer H on Apr 16, 2007 09:25 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

In the Ireland match, Bashar was playing like our own Dada. He was lazy and not running quick singles and thus unnecessarily created pressure and frustration for the other Bangla batsmen.

Saurav builds a team.
Dravid destroys the team.

Saurav gets performance from his players.
Dravid gets failures from his team.

Saurav took us to the world cup final.
Dravid got us back home after first round.

Saurav got us championstrophy.
Dravid got us out of the championstrophy.

Saurav created fighters like pathan.
Dravid finished the fighters like pathan.

ganguly should retire
Ganguly had big role in defeat in mathch against Bangladesh. He gifted match t o bangaldesh deliberately playing negative cricket just to humiliate dravid and to take revenge against chappell ?? but he betrayed the whole team ganguly wasted more balls than runs he scored poor fielding and poor running wkt and unwilling to take singles cost more runs to team also created pressure on batsman on other side He did not bother to try and hold an easy catch during agarka bowling , Never tried to accelerate run rate He did not tried to hold simple catch during agarkar%u2019s bowling
60 runs in 130 balls how it can help a team cause?? Ganguly had one stage for having batted through nearly 11 overs to make a mere 7 runs.
Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs India Scored 191 in 50 overs
Ganguly Scored 66 runs in 21 overs wasted more balls than runs he scored.,
Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs
Rest of team scored 50 in 19 overs
Against burmada Ganguly scored 89 in 114 balls wasted 25 balls that is around 4.6 runs per over... compare it to the indian teams average of 8.26
Ganguly was struggling while batting against burmuda, and got 3 lifes Ganguly 7 in 23 balls against SL
Ganguly did return with team but nest day when arrived in kolkat airport media said he got a warm welcome He was not team uniformGanguly success is b'cuz of dravid contribution in tests and sachin contribution in oids.. Not B'CUZ OF HIS LEADERSHIP OR AGRESSION
GANGULY %u2018S SELFISH, OPPERTUNIST, CUNNING POLITICIAN AND PROMOTING GROUPISM AND NOT BATHER ED IF TEAM WINS OR NOT
GANGULY IS MAIN CULPRIT IN DEBACLE OF WC HE SHOULD BE OUT OF IND TEAM FOR TESTS AND ODIS team went final in WC2003 bcuz sachin batted brilliently. he scored 33%of total runs and won MOS and best batsman.
NOT B'CUZ OF GANGULY CAPTAINCY OR LEADERSHIP,
srinath bowled well and dravid ketp wkts to accomodate one more batsman
No player played negative cricket that team should loolse. But this time some players were not with team or captain
Ganguly betrayed dalmiay, dravid and played for his sponsers sourav succeded in earning maniac fans like you by scoring 50 in almost every Innings at the cost of winnig chances of India. India''s loss against bangladesh was due to him. He created fear in our own batsmen by playing pathetically slow and then gave confidence to bangladeshi bowlers.

. And WC event is best place to humiliate captain. One win would made team to in Sleague and there won%u2019t be any change
in some players deliberately played negative cirkcet and betrayed team and ditched captain.
But this time it is ganguly sachin, dhoni, harbjan betryaed team and ditched the captaint
non cooperation of some players to captain is failue and cause for defeat

You being bengali, support gangu....it is not a question of bengali, gujju, telgu, tamil, mrathi or any other. it is a question of tricolor. so support on the basis of merit. gangu has done good for the country but that is past now....it better to drop him and tendulkar for good of India which is bigger than anyother past perfomers.

Well said on, by end of the day what matters is a loss or win. And whether the player is from north, south, east or west... we still will support the player if he performs well. Unity can only win anf for that all the 11 players should give out his best.

Ganguly can hit sixes? Well, he swung his bat a few times against Bermuda and managed just one. He swung his bat hard against Sri Lanka and could reach only as far as Muralidharan at mid off!

While debating about Tendulkar, you say forget the past records and see what he is doing presently.

Same applies to Ganguly. Talk of what Ganguly has been doing recently. Ganguly's highest number of sixes can be creditted to his peak form which is over long back. How many sixes has he hit in the last 15 one day matches that he played?

THERE IS NO COMPARISION...........

DRAVID CAN BAT WHEN WE ARE 5 DOWN.....
GANGULY CAN WIN A MATCH BY BATTING AND CAPTAINCY.

LOOK AT MICHAEL VAUGHAN...AVERAGES MID 20'S...NO 100'S MATCHES PLAYED 90.CAPTAIN OF ENGLAND....THEY CONSIDER HIM ALL ROUNDER BECAUSE OF HIS CAPTAINCY AND BATTING.

1st overseas test series win - Windies 2006
One day series win overseas - Pakistan 2006
One day series win against Lanka - Home 2005/2007
One day series win against England - Home 2006
One day series win against windies - Home 2007.
Test series win against lanka - Home 2005-06
1st test win in South Africa - South Africa 2006.

All of it in only 18 months - KUDOS RAHUL DRAVID.
A record odi winning of 18 matches by cahsing

statistics always say the truth. Dravid is a good captain whatever he achieved in just 19 months and compated to ganguyly success for 5 yrs dravid did better job in short period of time..

It was only Dravid who laged lone battle against srilanka when these heroes failed miserably. He could have gone 3rd or 4th down against bermuda to score a century if he was selfish and if he had to act like ganguly or tendulkar. but he proved that he was a team man by giving chance to Tendulkar, yuvraj and sehwag by promoting them them in batting order. rahul dravis has been indias most consistent batsman since the 1999 world cup......its mot me....but the records who are saying tht........
, odi batting average in home all the batsman are better then their overall averages.

Overall------Home-----Away----Diff. B/W
---------------------------Average-----Averg-----Averg

Sachin--------------------44.05------46.27------34.85-----------9.15
Ganguly------------------41.36------46.67------36.16-----------5.20
Shewag-------------------31.62------33.59------2 9.71-----------1.91
Dravid----------------------40.01------45.33------42.10-----------2.09

Stat tells different story

JG Wright      130      68      56&nbs p;     6/0      52.30
GS Chappell      62      32      27&nb sp;     3/0      51.61
       &n bsp;                    & nbsp;

SC Ganguly             146      76      65 &nbs p;    5      52.05%
R Dravid              65      33       28       4       50.77%
The difference of odi wnnin average is only 1% when compared to succss of ganguly & john AND dravid and chappell Ganguly had advantage of leading team for maximu nos of matches and 5 yr lengthier period and 31 wins against weaker team dravid only captian for 16 months and difference in winning average is only 1.22%

1. Micheal Vaughan - Watch out. He will not be England's captain after the WC. Reason - he is not good enough to retain his position as a batsman.

2. Dravid can bat when we are 5 down! If you are willing to be confronted with statistics and records it would be very easy to prove you wrong! But I don't care. If you want to live in your fool's paradise, you are free to do so!

yes, Vaughan will be kicked out after WC (he sent his team to super8 atleast)
Lara quits after their losses in super 8
Inzy quits ODI itself after their losses...

BUT DRAVID IS GREAT...HE MUST BE CREDITED WITH CAPTAINCY FOR NEXT THREE SERIES ATLEAST....GREAT INDIA AND HIS FANS

R u PA or lawyer to DADA, whether he is right or wrong you always poke your nose there, I didnt find your comments on other players or is there any compulsion that u will favour only those players whose last name is GANGULI , BANERJEE , MUKHERJEE......

Be mature man and leave this biased approach atleast in sports

I am PA to all good things in this world.
Like good music, good whisky, sweet smelling breeze, comapny of sweet people like sharad Saxena and of course Saurav ganguly.
I deny your allegation. Saurav is Bengali by coincidence.
Had he been from Bihar, UP or Rajasthan, I could have equally supported him for all his good game, captaincy, guts and determination.
Thanks.
