RE:RE:Tiriboot to Great Gangool and few peepool anti Gangool have develop langool(tail) by bharat on Mar 21, 2007 02:43 PM The Bengalis do not praise any one other than Ganguly. The praise reaped on Ganguly is often disproportionate to his performance. You Bengalis must learn to talk good about other players too along with Ganguly. Please give up the myth that Ganguly is the lone saviour of the Indian team. Do you find Maharastrians on this forum talking only about Sachin? Do Punjabi's harp only about Harbhajan? Do Delhi-ites talk good only about Sehwag? Do Keralites good talk only Sreesanth? Why do Bengalis only find Ganguly praisworthy? As long as you continue to continue sole worship of Ganguly, you will continue to receive sharp reactions.

Fans are full of praise for the entire team when it clicks. The praise reaped on Ganguly is often disproportionate to his performance. - Not agreed. Ganguly change the complexion of the team and the game the moment he was reinducted. He performed consistently after that. You Bengalis must learn to talk good about other players too along with Ganguly. - Yes of course when they play well. Please give up the myth that Ganguly is the lone saviour of the Indian team. - Facts prove the myth. You can not change that. Do you find Maharastrians on this forum talking only about Sachin? - Definitely some guys do so. Do Punjabi's harp only about Harbhajan? - Punjab is normally donot harp much about anybody. there is no harm if they encourage Harbhajan when he plays well. Do Delhi-ites talk good only about Sehwag? Untill the last performance Sehwag did not allow anybody except Rahul to talk good of him. Do Keralites good talk only Sreesanth? -Allow Sreesanth some more time to settle and drop him unceremoniously and then see what happens. Why do Bengalis only find Ganguly praisworthy? - Wrong!!! The whole of India barring a few like you praise Ganguly as the determination and grit personified as well as the livewire leader of resurgence of Indian cricket after Kapil Dev. As long as you continue to continue sole worship of Ganguly, you will continue to receive sharp reactions. - We wont mind. No Ganguly fans will mind whether he is a Bengali or not.
Thanks for your nice comments on Bengalis as long as you are posting in a decent way as you have done here, but any abuse and see what happens. Ganguly fans all over from all provinces and languages know what they are doing and they donot care for your uncalled for and unnecessary comments. Whtever you do you can not drop Ganguly till he plays well. So go on biting your hands till that time in frustration. If however your comments are read by any Ganguly fan who is not a Bengali, I expect sharpcomments from him against your attempts to regionalise Ganguly or Ganguly fans.

No way they can give it to Ganguly now!. Team meetings Greg or someone needs to bring up these points and for Dravid to start beleiving in the following: 1)Agarkar is useless against any team 2)Put faith in Pathan, for he cant do much worse than Agarkar, even at his worst!! 3)Treat Sehwag as a regular Bowler. He is the Harbhajan for us if bajji is not playing. 4)Think about playing Kumble& Harbhajan both along with Zahir,Munaf,Pathan. (If Pathan scr*ws up, relaize it within 2 overs and use Ganguly to fill-in 2-4 overs of medium pace & use part-time spinners for remaining) 5)Give the field Kumble wants. If ur playing certain bowlers trust them fully! 6)Open with Tendulkar, Sehwag at no.3. 7)Use Karthik in the field as much as possible(just let one player be off the field all the time, there is plenty of bad fielders to pick)
