Here are the present point level after all teams have played 4 matches in the super 8 level( given today NZ will beat Ireland)
Team Name - NEXT 3 MATCHES - PRESENT POINT LEVEL ================================================= Aus - IRL SL NZ - 8 NZ - SL SA AUS - 8 SL - NZ AUS IRL - 6 SA - WI NZ ENG - 4 Eng - BG SA WI -2 WI - SA BG ENG - 2 BG - ENG IRL WI -2
TO REACH SF - (MIN-MAX Points required) ======================================== SF Top Qualifier with MAX Points after super 8 can be 14 (Australia) Teams with 10 points after super-8 level WILL qualify for SF spots 2/3 Teams with 8 points after super-8 MAY STILL QUALIFY for SF spot 2/3 Teams with 6 points CAN STILL SCRAPE in..But last spot.
Aus - IRL SL NZ - 8 -- 10(IRL) Sure - 100% SF spot- NZ - SL SA AUS - 8 - Win gainst any 3 teams ensures SF spot SL - NZ AUS IRL - 6 -- 8(IRL) sure- before that win against nz or aus, SF spot sure SA - WI NZ ENG - 4 - Need to win atleast one but two games for ensuring SF Spot- Win against WI/ENG could eliminate opposing team. Eng - BG SA WI -2 - Need to win all 3 especially one with SA..atleast two(include SA win) to scrape in WI - SA BG ENG - 2 - Need to win all 3 especially one with SA..atleast two(include SA win) to scrape in BG - ENG IRL WI -2 - Need to win all 3 atleast two..May spring a surprise,if SA fail to score 2 wins !!
Interesting in the next 3 -4 days ================================= SA vs WI on Tuesday- WI lose,they will be eliminated (very impt. match for all the bottom 4 teams now) ENG Vs BG - Whoever loses is out almost..If BG wins,it would tilt the scales ! SL Vs NZ on Thursday- Will determine SF2 and SF3 Spot mostly..Whoever wins could avoid Aussies in the Semis !
n for India..Ravi Shastri..All the best..Its not gonna be easy especially on fast pitches..having said that bangaldesh tour,wont be easy..take the "super heroes" and see them struggle again..In a way,It may put an end to their careers therby giving chances to youngsters, from trips after Bangladesh tour !!

Aussies cant be beaten..They r all peaking.They r big-game people..India wins the warmup matches like champions and go out duds.

Vinod, you wrote, "its not gonna be easy especially on fast pitches". I thought they prepare dead pitches to help BD score a win, which is few and far between.

sri lanka too.. because they have some good all rounder and dangerous muritharan.. at this time, top order is not fully form.. otherwise it will be challage for aussie..

NZ can be at top if they keep their winning streak and win against Aus. In that case, NZ will enter Final and lift teh cup. SL also have the chance. NZ/SL can win the cup if Aus is eliminated in the Semi.
