1. NZ winning record (of one dayers) under Flemming's captaincy is less than 50%.

2. NZ have not won or reached the finals of any major tournaments.

3. Like India, NZ have by and large, a reputation of being tigers at home only.

No doubt, Flemming was a reasonably good and steady captain, but no one else except for the forumers on rediff use superlatives to describe his captaincy.

I repeat he was a good captain but certainly not exceptional. Why are we going all out to praise his captaincy so lavishly?

If an Indian captain has a winning record of less than 50% would the Indian public support his being retained as the captain for 10 years regardless of however brilliant the captain he may be?

Ind has never beaten NZ in a world cup match. Likewise, Pak has never beaten Ind in a world cup match.

You are wrong. India beat NZ in the 1987 WC at Nagpur. Gavaskar scored 103 in that match.

flaming was captain for 10 yrs and even last time kiwis made it to semis but failed reached fainl He did not realise that time
Sl are playing like unit and all players are
supporting and performaing for team cause not for sponsers or self records
some superstar senior players betryed team
captian and millions of fans by playing
back stage polticis
senior players let down team and major role in early exit of WC

it was ganguly who destroyed the
team spirit by vomoting dressing room conflict
during Zib tour. whole country knew that dravid mediated between chappell and ganguly
dravid anchored success of ganguly as captain
take out dravid's performance ganguly success
as captain average will be lower than
sachin
politican ganguly betryaed dalmiay dravid sachin
he is spoiling sports man spirit of younger players
but GANGSTER GANGULY IS BIG LOOSER
EVEN YURAJ, DHONI,ZAHIR, HARBAJAN SEWAG
WON'T JOIN HIS DIRTY POLITICS.
CUNNING POLITICIAN GANGULY SHOULD BE REMOVED
