Hey that the reality, to date Dravid is the most hated guy among the indian cricket fans.
Its not Dada fan/servant - this heats comes out from every indian fan, coz of our exit from WC.
May be if DADA is captain, I guess we defenitely go to semis atleast.

What kind of strong shoulders does Ganguly have??

- He cannot throw in hard
- He cannot hit boundaries
- He tries to hit a six but can go only as far as Muralitharan at mid-off!

Do you want our captain to have such 'strong' shoulders like Dada?

He did not take India to the WC finals, Tendulkar, Sehwag, Dravid and Srinath did.

He did not build the team he got a team of players at the peak of their form. He got ready made well lit charcoals to enjoy his barbeque!

It was the innings from Tendulkar and Sehwag against Pakistan, under more challenging circumstances and against a much superior bowling attack that saw India into the semis!

They were at peak form at 2003 WC. Now they are not. Ganguly was lucky to have a team with so many good players at their best. ... and yes, all these were established before Ganguly became the captain so don't try to pass credit to Ganguly for bringing out the best from these players!

I thought so a looser like wil say luck.so dhoni yuvraj sehwag decided to go out of form during champiostrophy and world cup under dravid.i wil give u a example ganguly allowed sachin to open the bating it paid off thats captaincy while dravid made him bat in the middle order wher he did not wanted to bat- he failed poor captaincy.

1. Both the decisions (to play Tendulkar as an opener in 2003 and in the middle order in 2007) were correct under the circumstances. In 2003, Sachin was at his peak and had the form and strength to blast the bowlers in the 1st 15 overs. So, he was the right choice as the opener.

In 2007, he was well past his peak. He had been plagued by injuries in the past few years and did not have the same fire power to blast the bowling. A role in the middle order was more appropriate for him and for the team. Hence the decision to move him to the middle order was also appropriate.

2. It is not that Ganguly invented Tendulkar as an opener. He (along with Ganguly) had been a highly successful opening pair in onedayers long before Ganguly took over as the captain.

3. You can use adjectives to describe me if you like ("looser' etc etc) as you like. I can use similar ones too. But argue sportingly. I have nothing personal against you and I am sure you don't hold anything against me.

In my opinion Dravid dont have the lion heart, courage, which is one of the captaincy quality.
For example, Kapil in WC'83 faced a situation when India down by 17/5, he stood like rock lion and roared 175 and because of that we won the cup. Dravid also stood against SL, but dont had that guts to fight till the end, which PAK always has(I admire), look the way the lost to Ireland, they fought until the last ball even with that small score. Even Azhar lost to ZIM in one WC cause to exit. Ganguly has the leadership qualities, unfortunately India not used him fully instead threw dung over him, result INDIA suffered humilations only.
NOW WHO IS DARE TO SAY - DRAVID GOOD CAPTAIN

He may have, but he has not come to this earth with the blessing of eternity! His days are over. Even if one agrees that Dravid is not fit to lead India, neither is Ganguly. In the first place, he has not shown sufficient batting form to prove that he is good enough to deserve a place as a batsman. The question of whether or not he can be a captain is irrelevant at this point in time.
