Please stop talking about regional favorism
by J V on Apr 22, 2007 11:15 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is well known that Bengalis will protest if dada will not play. to an extent that they will goto court.

But No other state has shown that kind of favorism for a cricket player. Dravid had been critisized so many times but we never heard any protest going on in south india. Same goes with other parts of India.

I request all Bengalis to stop doing this here.

Chapple is reponsible for Ganguli's exit not Dravid.
And in last 15 years i have seen Ganguli comeback many times. his nature is such that he needs a shake to improve upon himself.
in 1992 World cup he couldnt do anything I never felt that the neverous guy could ever come back in indian team again ... but he came back and made huge centuries in England and other parts of world.

Ganguli's exit has done good to him always. He will come back again!

But I request Ganguli to stop going into Captanship politics and sabotage indian cricket.
If he is good which I am sure he is, he will be captain again.

U R absolutely right Mr J V!!!

Everybody knows that Saurav was dropped due to his CONSISTANT bad performance for a long time BUT this was a BCCI mistake that they have not dropped Sachin and Sehwag on same reason??

If anybody disagree then he should prove then Saurav performance and compare with other batsmen ( not with Sachin and Sehwag, I have already told them they MUST be out)

Regards

I have already posted my comments on Sachin.

Sachin - A great player destroyed by someone's wish to see him as captain. Never change your game to show your importance. I feel Ganguli is doing same these days .. what Tendulkar did when Azhar was captain in 1995 96.

Sehwag - A Miracle! No technique but still manages to score 200's and 300's. for Last couple of years he has started going away from miracle and learning the "Technique". Man I say if you are getting "Free" money why waste time in Working!! He should stop worrying about his technique and do what he does :) Or else he will be Past like Srikanth.

JVtakes another aim with narrow parochialness, but under the guise of being washed in milk Tulasi leaf.
JV you will not fool anyone, get over it, stop targeting a section of India who have done more than your state for the freedom of the country.Jai Bharat!

Lack of commitment, fighting spirit, negative body language, playing for self recores, to cement place for next matches, sponsers, poor fielding, trying to expose each on the field, promoting groupism etc.. Has coach told instructed for all these??
chappell's big mistake was he treated all players alike, equally and push the players from comfort zone. many superstars were taken their placed for granted....
winning and defeat depends on performance of XI players on the field irrepective of coach, captain, pitch and conditions.
SL is playing superb cricket None of senior player /ex captain m envied mahila%u2019s his promotion as captain From the outset they gave unstinting support. they remained hungry to perform and did not rely on reputation or popular support to protect the ganguly and sachin should have fought battle on ground rahter in dressing room both may successful to get rid of chappell but both players may not play WC2011
