Niranjan Shah was always a very mediocre(if not bad) cricketer during his days. So, we can't expect that he will understand cricket or cricketing problems. The only thing he is capable of doing is to open his filthy mouth in situations where nobody wants him to speak. It's a pity that this corrupt peoples are heading the BCCI. There is just no board official who has good recognition in international cricket in a country where several legends have born, can u believe it !!!
Their dirty ego and jealousy for cricketers is ruining Indian cricket. they brought Chappel to teach the cricketers a lesion, which ultimately ended up in dividing the team where everybody looses there faith on captain Dravid and the results like 1st round exit were inevitable.
Dravid shud show some aggression to defend his players to re-earn the respect,it will boost the team moral. otherwise he will end up as the worst captain in the history of Indian cricket doesn't matter whether whether he plays with a junior team or a senior team.

If you took your ar$e out of your head for just a moment and look around, you'll notice that one can be a good administrator without having been a good player. Some of CA's bosses haven't played any cricket at all.

We all know that Tendulkar & Ganguly have been rather good players. They've given us a lot in terms of entertainment but have gained a lot too in terms of money & fame. Nobody owes anybody anything. If they continue to perform, we should keep them in the team. If they don't, out they go.

Bengalis have always been a rather smart lot. But you Indranil, with your incessant pro-Ganguly & anti-Dravid posts most of which are devoid of any logic, risk giving them all a rather bad name.

Cricket is just a game. Ganguly & Dravid are just players. There is no reason to either put them on a pedestal or stamp on them. Grow up.

U r absolutely right ravi but its just one thing i can tell in Indranils support. I think Indranil was trying to point out on people like Girish Rao & Suman Bhat for being anti Ganguly for no solid reason. Being a bengalee it must have frustated him too along with many others. So lets forget regionalism and concentrate about cricket.2007 is past ....we would like to look fwd to 2011.Lets hope for the best

You're right. There are plenty of idiots around here who give Ganguly a fair bit of undeserved stick.

I absolutely agree with him getting kicked out of the team last year as he was clinging on to captaincy without performing as a batsman for too long. But the time out seems to have made him mentally stronger and if he continues performing as he has been recently, I'd have him on my team any day.

Of course, Ganguly being in the team gives Dravid a few political headaches. But as captain, it is Dravid's job to show some steel & sort such headaches out. Dravid must impose himself on this team now & I think he has the capability to do so.
