Federer so far, has played better than expected, and looks a sure bet for the Final. Nadal too, slowly but surely, has been cruising along. His journey to the final too; is not likely to be challenged. The winner amongst the two; is going to be decided by just one question: Who wants the trophy more badly?

Well said Ms. Patil. It makes me wonder why the organisers worldwide waste so much time and money, and make players play 127 matches before the final. They should instead, arrange a best of 5 matches final directly between Federer and Nadal.

The point is well taken Mr. Vasudevan, but players actually play 126 matches before the final. Final; is the 127th match.
