Bhupati get your act right
by Newswatch on Feb 29, 2008 05:58 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I think Bhupati is raking up dissent in the team just to get at Leander.I see the holoowness of the statement when he says "I know Leander for a long time, he has some very good qualities especially as a leader. But, he has to play singles, doubles and has to worry about the team also, literally too much on his plate". Crocodile tears. Nobody is fooled.

Bhupati is a gentleman. Paes is not. He tends to indulge in media PR and one upmanship. Paes ahs sucked upto AITA and thought he could get away with his charlatanism.

It is not just Bhupati. Entire Indian team has walked out on paes.

I think the whole problem started when Leander prefered one very young player (Somdev ?????) over the other established players like Prakash, who has been playing for a long time but could not give the results. It has certainly to do with the egoes of the individual players. They donot qualify even in the first round of major tennis tournaments, so davis cup is the only way to show their existance.
