If he is concerned about human rights, i would like to know if he will stand up and say 'no' when Olympics happens in London next time. The British did so much of rights violations in India and its other colonies as well..

the point i am trying to make is: Lets not mix politics with sports. I am against human rights violations as well, where ever it is committed or whoever is the culprit. Olympics is simply not the Forum to rake up these issues. Why do we have UN then? should we shift UN sittings to Olympics venues then? The problem with some of us Indians is that we have double standards in mind and dont see the bigger picture. What would you say if in 2010 China says it wont send its athletes to the Commonwealth games in Delhi as India is violating human rights in North East or in Kashmir and it supports the separatists there. The same logic applies. The Indian Government knows this and keep mouth shut knowing this. Still the public is always after China and Pakistan for reasons unknown to them!
