After securing the Nehru Cup by our football team, this is one good news from our Hockey team. I think our other teams have started taking things seriously.
WHen it comes to representing a country, we expect commitment and sincerety. But when it comes to our Great Indian team, it is still sarcasism. you may find team effort among all other teams, not among our cricketers. there was great commitment in the 6th ODI, but aargh!, not again we failed in getting hold of the trophy!
Appears credit is being claimed by the Bombay Booollywood ? The Republic of India MENS hockey team is defintely the best all time hockey team in the World with 8 olympic golds.
However, on ones ever heard of the India WOMENS hockey team as potrayed in the comedy show produced by the Bombay Boooollywood of Charrukkh Kann and 17 women waltzing around grass in an Australian stadium.
Next time, the Boooollywood should make a movie of the India MENS hockey team which would be more sensible & realistic.
ps: America lost 4-0 to the India MENS hockey team in the 1996 Atlanta olympics.
