P.Gopichand n Padukone just won a single competition at international level n vanished....especially gpichand was overhyped..he was due 4 more but was more than satisfied after a single victory...y cant v produce players like china n indonesia who are consistent n do justice to their talent....I sincerely hope sridhar wouldnt be another prey 2 media hypes n vil make India proud big time....

totally incorrect facts ....... prakash was ranked 1 in the world for quite some time and gopichand won more than one international tournament ... it is not just these 2 ... even syed modi and vimal kumar won couple of international tournaments ....

You are Right. We Should appreciate Great Performance at this moment , not a Great Player as he has yet to prove a lot.

When was the last time binish mathew won anything? Look at gopichand's doemstic record. And even international record. And coming to Saina, she is just 17/18 yrs old and she already is recognised as one of most talented players anywhere. So where does the word "overhype" come from? Gopi had an injury ridden career. Coming to comments about not reaching indonesian/ chinese levels, compare their facilities, support system and then compare results.
